SAT
SAT Math preparation.
The SAT is the standardised admissions test for US universities. We tutor the Math section, covering algebra, problem-solving, geometry, and the advanced topics that the digital, adaptive paper now expects.
About the exam
What the SAT Math section looks like.
01
Digital and adaptive
The SAT is now sat on a computer, with two modules per section and a second module whose difficulty depends on the first. Strategy for the format matters as much as the maths.
02
Math section worth 800
Math is scored out of 800, with most competitive US universities expecting comfortable mid-700s and above. Top engineering and business programmes look for the high 700s.
03
Algebra, problem-solving, advanced topics
Content spans linear and non-linear algebra, problem-solving and data analysis, geometry and trigonometry, and a handful of harder topics drawn from across the curriculum.
How we work
Our approach.
01
Focused on Math
We are a mathematics tuition company. SAT Math is what we teach; we will refer students to specialist Reading and Writing tutors where helpful.
02
Built for the digital format
We practise under the actual Bluebook conditions, including the embedded Desmos calculator and the adaptive module timing.
03
Targeted, not generic
Sessions start from a diagnostic so we spend time on the topics that are actually costing the student marks, not the ones they already have.
Speak to a SAT Math tutor.
Tell us the score the student is targeting and where they are now, and we will match them with a tutor and plan.
